Time to be human

The below excerpt is from Michael David Robinson’s post on Facebook 1/1/2013 (full text below). He is the fiance of dubbed “Angel Lady” Doreen Virtue. 

To summarize, he was talking to men about being a real man, one that cares, has feelings and fears and is OK with being vulnerable, feeling and dealing with energies and the changes that are occurring on the planet during this transition in “time”. Time to be huMan versus the previous macho definition.

I just wanted to comment that if we are to survive and work together it is important that more people, not just men, but women also drop their “bitch” status. It is time to embrace your kind heart and let that same heart repel the dramas and people in your life that need not be there. Energies have a great way of naturally repelling that which you do not desire, just like they attract what you are hating simple because you are focused on it. Focus on what you desire, revel in the feeling of having it already, then wait for it to come!

Message for men:

OK…

So, you’re confused.

I get it.

You’re scared.

I get it.

You’re thinking “I don’t know what to do anymore, who am I?”

I get it.

You see, I was there… right there, where you are standing now.

Like you, I was raised thinking that in this world of relationships and family, the man must be strong, be the rock within the family, provide for each and every need, sacrifice your own desires to fulfill the needs of others; hold back emotions (and often love) as they are perceived as week and use logic to relate to people and situations.

This world, for way too long, has laid out these expectations for us, without ever consulting us on how we feel (to the contrary, we were told how to feel).

But you see, all this structure around how we men should act is old thinking and old patterns.

The man of the new earth has the incredible challenge of reversing these expectations and he cannot wait for society to create new expectations for him. We men must adapt to being a Loving spiritual partner to all those around us, to living a life in which we demonstrate through our daily actions that people, animals, and nature matter. We need to lead a life that helps usher in the new era, where the embodiment of the feminine is held on an equal platform, where decisions that create our future, whether individually or collectively include the energy of the divine masculine and feminine.

It is no longer a question of if these changes are going to happen, not even a question of when… as they are occurring right now.

Now is not the time to ‘man up’ – we did this, and look how far we got.

Now is the time to HuMan up – and lead your life knowing that those that will come after you will appreciate you for the life you lead and the legacy of Love you left.

It is not just OK, but necessary to believe and open your communication with God, the angels, Jesus, and other Ascended Masters. Once you have completely opened this channel, you will find great strength, knowledge, and comfort in knowing their energy is around you.

Everyday situations can be met head-on without the need for confrontation, you will have the ability to view difficult tasks and problems completely from a Love based position allowing for an openness within your heart that truly will lead you to peace and happiness. As I have shared before;

Why live with a closed heart, when the truth is, upon leaving here it will open anyway.

Conversing with God, the angels, your Spiritual Guides, Jesus and other ascended Masters, doesn’t mean you are coming from a place of weakness, remember it is God who created the earth and the entire Universe, so how can carrying Gods Love within you and relying on it to guide your actions, decisions, and behaviors be considered weak? It is through a peaceful understanding of Love, in all its forms that will remain the foundation of the new world.

Try it out, even for just a week. Give your ego a rest and let your soul take flight, I can assure you, you and all those around you will appreciate the new Loving you.
